OVERVIEW

Alokayt is a versatile and secure role-based platform tailored to streamline business operations. The platform enables back-office management to select from a suite of compliance tasks, allowing them to build and assign configurable work schedules to operatives. These schedules can be accessed and completed in real-time via mobile devices or desktops. Additionally, the platform allows customers or operatives to add ad-hoc tasks, ensuring comprehensive compliance. I worked on this project during my period at Intellimorph.

PROBLEM

Security operations at buildings and facilities often involve complex schedules, compliance requirements, and a variety of roles, which can lead to inefficiencies. The lack of a unified, configurable platform for task management and communication between security personnel, back-office management, and clients created unnecessary delays, confusion, and compliance risks.

SOLUTION

To address these challenges, we developed Alokayt, a role-based platform designed to streamline and simplify security operations. The platform allows back-office managers to create, assign, and monitor compliance tasks, offering a clear and structured approach to scheduling and operational management. Security personnel can access tasks in real-time via mobile devices or desktops, and clients can oversee compliance while adding ad-hoc tasks when needed, ensuring smooth and comprehensive coverage.

Though Alokayt is developed for a specific client, it is designed to serve a broad spectrum of users within the security services industry.

Security Service Businesses

Companies that provide outsourced security personnel to various buildings and facilities. These businesses need to manage multiple security operatives across different sites, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and provide efficient reporting and task management solutions to clients.


Facilities and Building Managers

Responsible for ensuring that security services at their sites are consistent, reliable, and compliant. They require a streamlined way to monitor the operatives assigned to their locations and coordinate with security service providers.

Security Operatives

Field personnel who perform security duties on-site. They require easy access to their work schedules, compliance tasks, and ad-hoc assignments, along with a simple way to report issues or incidents in real-time.

Clients Seeking Security Services

Organizations or individuals who need robust security services for their properties. These clients expect real-time updates on the status of security operations and transparent communication with the security company managing their site.

CONCEPTUALISATION

The platform was divided into several key user roles to enhance its usability and relevance for different stakeholders:

Site Manager's Portal

This portal gives site managers the tools to oversee daily operations, manage task assignments, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. It includes reporting functionalities and real-time monitoring to keep operations running smoothly.

Portal Manager's Portal

Focused on high-level operations, this portal allows Portal Managers to manage multiple sites, assign broader compliance tasks, and review performance metrics across sites, ensuring that security operations remain aligned with the company's goals.

Client Account Manager

The Client Account Manager portal was designed to give clients access to the operational progress at their sites. They can review compliance records, add ad-hoc requests for tasks, and ensure that their specific needs are being met by the security personnel.

Security Officer's Portal

This interface provides security operatives with real-time access to their daily tasks and schedules. They can complete assigned tasks, report incidents, and add ad-hoc compliance updates, which keeps all operations current and up-to-date.

PROTOTYPE

After a thorough process, the final design has been achieved accompanied by a prototype.
